This 42QT fridge cools quickly and maintains temperature well, especially once it's loaded with food and drinks. I tested it with a wireless temperature sensor and found it responds fast to temperature adjustments—dropping to 30°F without issue.
That said, it does warm up pretty quickly when unplugged. In my 75°F kitchen, it went from cold to 65°F in about three hours. Plugged back in, it recovered to set temperature in roughly an hour.
Once full, the temperature held much more steadily thanks to the thermal mass of the contents. Still, if you're planning to use it for camping or road trips without constant power, I'd strongly recommend pairing it with a portable battery pack to avoid draining your vehicle's battery.
